Explore the AI-MathTutor Math Demo
See examples of the topics students will study from middle school through SAT preparation. This is an illustrated-content preview, not yet a live AI voice or interactive whiteboard demonstration.
8th Grade — Pre-Algebra
Example: Solve 3x + 7 = 22.
Subtract 7 from both sides: 3x = 15. Divide both sides by 3: x = 5. Check: 3(5) + 7 = 22.
9th Grade — Algebra I
Example: y = 2x + 3.
The y-intercept is 3 and the slope is 2. Starting at (0, 3), move right one and up two to find another point, (1, 5).
10th Grade — Geometry
Example: A right triangle has legs 3 and 4 units.
Use the Pythagorean theorem: 3² + 4² = c². Since 9 + 16 = 25, the hypotenuse is 5 units.
11th Grade — Trigonometry
Example: In a right triangle with opposite side 3 and hypotenuse 5, sin(θ) = 3/5 = 0.6.
12th Grade — Calculus
Example: For f(x) = x², the derivative is f′(x) = 2x. At x = 3, the slope of the tangent line is 6.
PSAT and SAT Math
Example: Solve 2(x + 3) = 18. Divide both sides by 2: x + 3 = 9. Subtract 3: x = 6.
What the full interactive demo will add
A guided classroom introduction, a grade/subject selector, Ava’s spoken explanation, a synchronized whiteboard, and a short quiz. These features will be labeled as live only after they are integrated and tested.
